About this film
Kindred is a card game for the moments small talk can't reach, with 194 cards to play in the same room or online.
The film opens on two people who keep meeting but never quite connect. Then the first card lands, and the story moves through the game's arc: start light, tell the story, say what matters, listen well.
Built in Remotion with the cards rebuilt from the live app, an original score, AI voiceover and sound design. Delivered as a 47-second 16:9 film and a 15-second 9:16 cut.
